Transform Your Life with One Simple List.

In the last few podcast I’ve been talking about taking care of you. You may want to listen to them — 133. Invest in Yourself: The Real Deal on Self-Care or 132. Redefining Self-Love: A Journey of Discovery

How have you been taking care of you?

Have you become comfortable with self-care for yourself?

Maybe you started giving yourself a few high fives as a form of self-love? Not sure what I’m talking about? Listen to the Self-Love podcast I recorded.

Hopefully, fear, limiting beliefs, and excuses don’t stop you. They get me sometimes.

I know early on in my journey it was hard for me to make space for myself and my wants and needs. I knew what they were, I knew the value, but couldn’t manage to make time

Get comfortable saying no more often - no is a complete answer, no need to explain.

That’s when I learned the value of a Hell No and Hell Yes list.

Over the years of being a mom, a wife, a woman and a business owner I discovered the real value of saying no.

Like when I used to make dinner every night and hated it. I said to Matthew it was on my hell no list to make dinner every night. He was happy to take it on.

We made the deal he would be in charge of weeknight dinners until it became a part of his hell no list. Now he makes dinner during the week and I am free to have fun creating yummy dinners on the weekend.

Being able to easily identify which list something is on has brought so much ease into my life.

I get it.

Saying no can be hard, especially when it’s someone you love asking.

Introducing My Version of the Hell No/Yes List

Saying no can be hard, especially when it’s someone you love asking.

It wasn’t as easy to begin saying no. (I was raised watching my very SOUTHERN grandmother who would never say no to anyone asking her to do something – after all that is just rude.)

My gift to you today is an actual Hell No/ Hell Yes list.

Download it. Of course I would say print it if you can or just write one out yourself and start filling it up.

It’s great to define what you WANT to say YES too and what you don’t want to do.

Start small if you need to, just start.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the conversation and that you have expanded your toolkit to find more pleasure and bring more joy into your life.
